In an exciting end to the Scottish Premier League season, Jeffrey Schlupp has won his first title with Celtic FC.
This is his second league title after winning the English Premier League with Leicester City in 2015/16.
Schlupp, on loan from Crystal Palace, played a key role in Celtic's 5-0 win over Dundee United at Tannadice Park last Saturday. He came off the bench to help secure the championship.
The 32-year-old's impact on Celtic's success is significant. He has made 14 appearances for the Hoops and scored one goal. Schlupp has been an important part of Brendan Rodgers' team.
He has played in ten league matches this season. There are rumors he may extend his stay at Celtic beyond his current loan.
Celtic's victory was highlighted by Nicolas-Gerrit Kuhn and Adam Idah, who each scored two goals. Ryan Strain also contributed with an early own goal. This win not only secured the league title but also set up a chance for more trophies.
Schlupp could add the Scottish Cup if Celtic beats Aberdeen in the final.
Despite his club success, Schlupp has not played for Ghana’s national team since 2021. He last received a call-up for a World Cup qualifier against Ethiopia.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace is aiming for the English FA Cup title this season, adding excitement to Schlupp's year.
