Jeffrey Schlupp wins maiden title in thrilling Scottish Premier League finale with Celtic

In an exciting end to the Scottish Premier League season, Jeffrey Schlupp has won his first title with Celtic FC.

This is his second league title after winning the English Premier League with Leicester City in 2015/16.

Schlupp, on loan from Crystal Palace, played a key role in Celtic's 5-0 win over Dundee United. He came off the bench to help secure the championship at Tannadice Park last Saturday.

The 32-year-old has made significant contributions to Celtic's success. He has played 14 matches across all competitions and scored one goal. Schlupp has been an important part of Brendan Rodgers' team.

He featured in ten league matches this season. There is speculation he may extend his loan at Celtic beyond this season.

Celtic's victory was highlighted by goals from Nicolas-Gerrit Kuhn and Adam Idah, who each scored twice. An early own goal from Ryan Strain also contributed to the scoreline. This win not only secured the league title but also set up a chance for more trophies.

Schlupp could add the Scottish Cup if Celtic beats Aberdeen in the final.

Despite his club success, Schlupp has not played for Ghana's national team since 2021. His last call-up was for a World Cup qualifier against Ethiopia. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace is aiming for the English FA Cup title, adding excitement to Schlupp's season.
