Ghanaian striker Jerry Afriyie, 18, has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with Saudi Pro League club Al-Qadsiah FC.
Afriyie’s rise from lower-tier Thoughts FC to becoming one of Ghana’s brightest young talents is impressive. His standout performances have earned him a call-up to the Black Stars for a 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier. In 2024, Afriyie played a key role in Ghana’s African Games victory, finishing as top scorer.
He also won the golden boot at the WAFU B Championship and led the U-20 team to a gold medal at the African Games. Afriyie further showcased his leadership by guiding the U-20 team to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations and winning Best Player and Goal King at the WAFU Zone B Championship.
