Jesús Navas, 39, played his final LaLiga match on Sunday, coming on as a substitute in Sevilla's 4-2 loss to Real Madrid.
The winger, Sevilla and Spain's most decorated player, will officially retire when his contract expires in Dec. 31. Navas made his debut in November 2003 and won four Europa League titles with Sevilla, alongside being part of Spain's squads that triumphed in the 2010 World Cup and Euro 2012 and 2024.
Before the match, both teams gave him a guard of honor, and Madrid's Luka Modric presented him with a commemorative shirt. Navas has struggled with a hip injury in recent years and will say goodbye to Sevilla fans at a special event on Dec. 30.
