Nicolò Fagioli became the latest player from Juventus' academy to leave the club. Gazzetta reports that Juventus earned over €100m from the sale of NextGen players over the last two transfer windows.
Fagioli joined Fiorentina on loan for the rest of the season with an obligation to buy for €13.5m, plus €3m in add-ons.
In the last two windows, Juventus made €103m from sales, with the highest income coming from Matias Soulé’s €25.6m move to Roma last summer.
Other notable transfers included Dean Huijsen’s move to Bournemouth for €15.2m, Enzo Barrenechea and Samuel Iling Junior's combined €22m transfer to Aston Villa, and other departures like Kaio Jorge, Koni De Winter, and Hans Nicolussi Caviglia.
Juventus' NextGen team, established as the first Serie A club to create a second squad, has played in Serie C, allowing young players to gain professional experience ahead of first-team football.
