Juventus player admits he ‘can’t stand’ Thiago Motta: ‘I’m not the only one’ – report

The situation at Juventus appears tense, with reports from *Il Corriere della Sera* suggesting significant unrest within the dressing room regarding coach Thiago Motta.

An unnamed player is quoted as expressing frustration with Motta, admitting, “I can’t stand him, and I’m not the only one,” citing unpredictable decisions such as being benched despite being a starter.

This isn't the first time Motta’s relationship with his players has come under scrutiny.

Previous reports from *Gazzetta* and *Tuttosport* have highlighted a strained dynamic between the coach and parts of the squad. Even if Motta manages to secure a top-four finish this season, there's speculation that this friction could lead to his dismissal.

Motta himself has been critical of his team, particularly after their shock elimination in the Coppa Italia to Empoli. He blamed both himself and the players, accusing them of lacking the necessary attitude and personality for crucial matches.

Interestingly, *Corriere della Sera* mentions that there are growing thoughts within the club that Antonio Conte could be the ideal replacement for Motta.

However, Motta’s contract runs until June 2027, and dismissing him before that would come at a steep price, approximately €20 million. This financial consideration adds complexity to the situation as Juventus navigates the remainder of the season.
