Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana featured briefly in Southampton's heavy 5-1 loss to Chelsea in the Premier League on Wednesday.

Sulemana entered in the 62nd minute but couldn’t influence the game as Southampton, already reduced to 10 men after Jack Stephens' 39th-minute red card, trailed 3-1.

Chelsea dominated with goals from Axel Disasi, Christopher Nkunku, Noni Madueke, Cole Palmer, and Jadon Sancho, while Joe Aribo scored Southampton’s lone goal. The defeat leaves Southampton anchored at the bottom of the table, while Chelsea climbs to second.

Sulemana had shown promise in a brief appearance against Brighton last weekend but could not spark a turnaround. Southampton’s struggles continue, and Sulemana will aim to make a stronger impact in their upcoming fixtures.
