Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana says he draws inspiration from national teammate and close friend Mohammed Kudus, whose performances in the Premier League continue to motivate him.

Speaking to ShowMax, the Southampton forward revealed that Kudus, now at West Ham, and Leicester’s Abdul Fatawu are his best friends, and seeing them thrive pushes him to work harder.

Kamaldeen and Kudus once trained together at the Right to Dream Academy and played for Danish side Nordsjaelland before going their separate ways.

Despite a challenging season that saw Southampton relegated, Kamaldeen remains determined to improve.

“Kudus was sublime last season. I told him I’d join him in the Premier League and we could make our mark together,” he said, expressing hope for a brighter chapter ahead.
