Karim Benzema rejects Cristiano Ronaldo’s GOAT claims, picks former Barcelona star

Karim Benzema has responded to Cristiano Ronaldo’s claim that he is the greatest footballer of all time.

Ronaldo stated that he is the most complete player ever, surpassing legends like Messi, Pelé, and Maradona.

Benzema, however, offered a different perspective, naming Brazilian legend Ronaldo Nazário as his footballing idol.

The former Real Madrid teammates, now rivals in the Saudi Pro League, have both been among the league’s top scorers with 16 goals each.

During their nine years together at Madrid, they won multiple titles, including four UEFA Champions Leagues.

While their careers have moved beyond Europe’s elite leagues, the debate over football’s greatest player continues, with Ronaldo firmly backing himself in the discussion.
