Asante Kotoko head coach Karim Zito recognizes Medeama SC’s strength. He admits that Sunday’s match at Baba Yara Stadium will be tough.
Kotoko will host Ibrahim Tanko’s team on May 30, 2025. This match is their last home game of the season.
With two games left, Kotoko is third in the league with 55 points. They need a win to keep their title hopes alive. They also hope Nations FC (60 points) and Bibiani Gold Stars (57 points) drop points.
Zito spoke to the media before the game. He expressed respect for Medeama SC and acknowledged their challenge.
"They will come all out," he said. "I know Medeama SC and their quality."
He added, "The moment doesn’t favor them, but they have good players."
Zito noted that Medeama is consistent and tries to keep possession of the ball. He believes this will make for an enjoyable and competitive match.
Kotoko aims for all three points to create excitement in the final matches of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League title race.
