Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has urged Cole Palmer to stay positive despite his recent goal drought.
The 22-year-old, Chelsea’s top scorer this season, has failed to score in his last seven games, including the 4-0 win over Southampton. Despite missing several chances, Maresca remains confident Palmer will soon regain his form.
Palmer, who started the season strongly with 14 goals and six assists in 21 league games, struggled to convert his chances against Southampton but kept a positive attitude.
Maresca praised his mentality, emphasizing that all top players go through tough spells.
Meanwhile, Pedro Neto impressed in a false-nine role, scoring and assisting in Nicolas Jackson’s absence.
Chelsea fans protested against club ownership before the match, but Maresca urged them to trust the team’s progress.
