Kevin De Bruyne has revealed there has been no progress in contract talks with Manchester City as he nears the final six months of his current deal.
After a hamstring injury sidelined him for much of the 2023/24 season, talks were put on hold. Now recovered, the 33-year-old confirmed there are no updates on his future. From January 1, De Bruyne can negotiate with overseas clubs, with interest from the Saudi Pro League and MLS's San Diego FC.
City manager Pep Guardiola expressed a desire for De Bruyne to sign a long-term deal, acknowledging that, eventually, the midfielder’s time at the club will come to an end, but his impact will last forever.
