Bayern Munich secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain, boosting their chances of a top-eight finish in the Champions League league phase.
Defender Kim Min-jae scored the decisive goal in the 38th minute, heading in from a Joshua Kimmich corner after a mistake by PSG goalkeeper Matvey Safonov.
PSG’s Ousmane Dembélé was sent off in the second half after a late challenge on Alphonso Davies, further hampering the French side. Despite PSG's chances, including efforts by Warren Zaire-Emery and Dembélé, they failed to capitalize.
Bayern dominated possession and extended their winning streak to seven matches without conceding, their best defensive run since 2011. PSG remains winless in the Champions League since September, managing only three goals in five league-phase games.
