Kofi Adams: I won't disappoint Ghanaians in my role as Sports Minister

Ghana’s Minister for Sports nominee, Hon. Kofi Adams, has assured Ghanaians that he will not disappoint if approved for the position.

During his vetting before the Appointments Committee on January 30, the Buem MP acknowledged his lack of a direct sports background but pledged to make a positive impact.

Adams emphasized his commitment to maintaining the country’s sporting facilities, ensuring they do not deteriorate to the point of being unusable. He promised to improve maintenance culture to keep facilities in top condition.

He also expressed gratitude for his nomination and vowed to meet the expectations of Ghanaians and President John Dramani Mahama.

Following his vetting, Adams now awaits parliamentary approval to officially assume the role of Minister for Sports and Recreation.
