Sports Minister Kofi Adams is optimistic about the upcoming Super Clash.
This match features Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko. It will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, May 4.
Adams noted that these are Ghana's two biggest football clubs. However, he expressed disappointment in their recent performances. He hopes they can turn things around.
He urged fans to avoid violence and hooliganism during the match. Adams also called on match officials to maintain professionalism.
"Let's all go and watch the game," he said. He specifically urged the referee to be professional as well.
The Ghana Football Association has appointed Jacob Aduntera as the centre referee for this match. The Super Clash will kick off at 15:00 GMT on Sunday, May 4.
Adams' comments show his desire for both teams to excel and uplift Ghanaian football.
