Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea reached the semifinals of the 2024-25 MTN FA Cup. They secured their spots during quarterfinal matches at Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
All quarterfinal games took place at one venue over two days. On Sunday, Kotoko faced Division One League side True Democracy. They won the match 2-1 in a late kickoff.
Saaka Dauda scored first for Kotoko in the 12th minute. Fans hoped for a high-scoring game after his goal.
However, True Democracy equalized in the 62nd minute. Isaac Botchwey scored with a free kick that deflected into the net.
