Kumasi Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito is pleased with his players. He believes they are adapting well to his system.
Zito spoke before the important match against Bibiani Gold Stars. This game is scheduled for Sunday, May 25, at 15:00 GMT. He noted that playing at Gold Stars’ Dun’s Park makes winning more challenging.
Zito took over after Kotoko lost 2-0 to Nations FC. Since then, he has led the team to two wins and one draw in three league games. He appreciates how well the players are responding to his coaching style.
“I think they are responding very well,” Zito said. “I am a new coach, and I like their attitude of learning.” He added that he is happy with how they are playing.
Currently, Kotoko ranks fourth in the league standings. Meanwhile, Gold Stars hold the second position.
