Kotoko accept GFA invitation over Ghana Premier League demands

Asante Kotoko has accepted an invitation from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for a meeting regarding their demands before the Ghana Premier League resumes.

Rivals Hearts of Oak have also been invited. The two clubs jointly presented concerns to the GFA following the tragic death of a Kotoko supporter during a match against Nsoatreman FC.

Kotoko acknowledges that the GFA has introduced the Enhanced Matchday Safety and Security Protocol 2025 but seeks further discussions on structural reforms. The club aims for a well-structured, independently managed league system.
