Kotoko would have beaten Hearts of Oak if they pushed harder - Charles Allotey

Former Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Charles Allotey believes Asante Kotoko could have won their recent match against Hearts. He thinks they would have succeeded if they had pushed harder.

Allotey criticized Hearts' head coach, Aboubakar Ouattara. He called Ouattara "the lowest coach in Ghana" due to the team's poor performance. "He's a failure; what has he taught the players?" Allotey asked.

He expressed concerns about Hearts' lack of attacking urgency. He noted that the strikers seemed more focused on defense than scoring. "Nobody looked like they wanted to score," he said. "How can a team like Hearts of Oak be so timid on the ball?"

Allotey urged the Hearts board to take action. He compared them to Asante Kotoko, who recently fired their head coach. "If Kotoko can act, why can’t Hearts?" he questioned. He believes this coach doesn't understand the club or its players. "It’s time for a new direction," he concluded.
