Kudus Mohammed nets fourth season goal as West Ham fall short against Brighton

Kudus Mohammed scored his first Premier League goal this year. However, West Ham United lost 3-2 to Brighton and Hove Albion.

The 24-year-old started in Graham Potter's lineup. He performed well and earned a 7.4 rating on Sofascore.

Yasin Ayari, a Swedish international, opened the scoring in the 13th minute. Brighton led until half-time.

Just before halftime, Kudus scored his fourth league goal this season. Tomas Soucek then scored to give West Ham the lead.

However, two late goals from Kaoru Mitoma and Carlos Baleba secured the win for Brighton.

Kudus has not met his usual standards this season. He has four goals and three assists across all competitions so far. He hopes to improve in upcoming games.
