Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) president Kwesi Nyantakyi has criticized current GFA president Kurt Okraku for failing to unite Ghana's football community.
Okraku, who took office in 2019, has been accused of sidelining key figures, with tensions escalating ahead of the 2023 GFA elections, especially after George Afriyie's disqualification as a presidential candidate.
Nyantakyi, who advised Okraku to reconcile with those he may have offended, expressed disappointment in his leadership.
Under Okraku, the Black Stars have faced setbacks, including two consecutive group-stage exits in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and failure to qualify for the 2025 AFCON.
However, Okraku's administration has seen success in women’s football, with the Black Queens qualifying for the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations.
