On March 17, 2025, Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku led a high-level delegation, including Executive Council members and Regional Football Association (RFA) chairmen, to meet with the Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams.
The visit aimed to foster collaboration between the GFA and the Ministry to advance football in the country.
President Simeon-Okraku congratulated Minister Adams on his nomination and emphasized the importance of teamwork to achieve success for Ghanaian football.
Vice-President Mark Addo highlighted Simeon-Okraku's election to the CAF Executive Committee, which strengthens Ghana's representation.
Minister Adams pledged government support for football development, infrastructure, and youth involvement.
The meeting also discussed future projects and support for the Black Stars in their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.
