Kurt Okraku present at launch of Togo’s national football technical centre in Lomé

Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku is the President of WAFU B and the Ghana Football Association. He visited Lomé for the launch of Togo's National Technical Football Centre. The invitation came from Guy Kossi Akpovy, President of the Togolese Football Federation.

The event marked the groundbreaking of a new facility. This center will nurture football talent and improve technical skills in Togo and West Africa. It aims to enhance youth development, coaching, and training standards. The centre is expected to strengthen the region’s presence in global football.

During the ceremony, Mr. Okraku spoke about the importance of this project. He praised the Togolese Football Federation for its leadership in advancing football at all levels. He called it “a significant and positive advancement” for West African football.

Mr. Okraku reaffirmed his commitment as WAFU Zone B leader. He promised ongoing support for initiatives focused on youth and infrastructure development. He stated, “I am fully dedicated to providing guidance and backing for projects that strengthen West African football.”

The launch of this National Technical Centre is a milestone for Togo. It represents efforts to create a lasting football legacy with benefits expected across Africa.
