Kwame Opoku shines with brace as Kotoko dominates Vision FC

Asante Kotoko dominated Vision FC 4-1 at Baba Yara Stadium, extending their unbeaten streak to five matches.

Kwame Opoku scored twice in the first half, with Peter Amidu Acquah and Saaka Dauda also adding goals. Opoku opened the scoring in the 8th minute, and after Nana Kwesi briefly equalized for Vision, Kotoko regained the lead through Acquah's strike in the 32nd minute.

Kotoko’s clinical finishing and relentless pressure overwhelmed Vision FC, who struggled to contain the hosts. Kotoko had 56% possession, 16 goal attempts, and five shots on target, while Vision FC only managed six attempts and one shot on target. The win keeps Kotoko’s title hopes alive, moving them just two points off the league leaders, while Vision FC remains in the bottom half of the table.
