Kwesi Appiah resumes role on Ghana FA Executive Council

Kwesi Appiah has resumed his role on the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council after stepping aside during the 2025 AFCON qualifiers to avoid a conflict of interest.

As Sudan's head coach, he was excused from GFA discussions involving the Black Stars during this period.

Appiah explained that he voluntarily left ExCo meetings related to Ghana's national team, ensuring fairness.

Now that the qualifiers have ended, Appiah returns to his duties, bringing his expertise to support the development of Ghanaian football.
