Sudan coach Kwesi Appiah has expressed his commitment to qualifying the Falcons of Jediane for both the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and the 2026 World Cup.
After signing a three-year deal with the Sudanese FA earlier this year, Appiah led the team to secure a spot in next year's AFCON tournament in Morocco, despite the ongoing civil unrest in the country. Sudan currently tops Group B in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Appiah praised Sudanese players for their discipline and dedication, noting the challenges posed by the political instability.
He aims to guide Sudan to their first-ever World Cup appearance, with matches against Senegal and South Sudan scheduled for March 2025.
