La Liga African Player Award: Glad to win twice in a row- Inaki Williams

Inaki Williams Wins African Player of the Year Award

Athletic Bilbao and Ghana forward Inaki Williams is thrilled to win the African Player of the Year Award. He received this honor in La Liga for the 2024-2025 season. Williams outperformed players like Nigeria’s Chidera Ejuke from Sevilla.

The 30-year-old played 50 games across all competitions. He made 35 league appearances, scoring six goals and providing eight assists. This award marks his second win, following his success in the 2023-2024 season.

Williams aims to achieve a third consecutive win. “Winning an award like this means you’re doing things right,” he said. He expressed pride in representing his roots and gaining visibility for La Liga.

“I hope African players continue to make a strong impact in La Liga,” Williams added. He believes they are all doing great work in the league.
