La Liga plans to annul Barcelona's injunction, which currently allows them to register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor while their court case against the league and the RFEF is pending.
The injunction was granted by the Spanish Sports Council (CSD), allowing the players to be registered for Sunday's Spanish Supercup match.
Several clubs, including Espanyol, Valencia, and Atletico Madrid, have expressed their dissatisfaction with the decision.
Barcelona will argue that the players should remain registered, but the case could take up to three months, potentially ruling the players out until April.
La Liga and the RFEF are seeking legal action to annul the injunction, and the Partido Popular will also raise the issue in Spanish congress.
