Darwin Nunez scored a late brace to secure Liverpool's 2-0 win over Brentford and extend their Premier League lead to seven points.
Despite dominating possession, Liverpool struggled to break the deadlock until Nunez's opener in the 91st minute from a Trent Alexander-Arnold cross.
He added a second two minutes later, finishing a counter-attack after Brentford's defense was caught out.
Liverpool had other chances, with Dominik Szoboszlai hitting the crossbar and Luis Diaz missing a header.
Brentford, who sat deep and offered little offensive threat, failed to capitalize on rare counter-attacks. The win strengthens Liverpool's position at the top, while Brentford remain 11th in the standings.
