LeBron James breaks Michael Jordan's record for 30-point games broke Michael Jordan’s record for the most 30-point games in NBA history with a 30-point performance in the Lakers’ 119-102 win over the Atlanta Hawks.
"It's very humbling," James said. "Anytime I'm mentioned with any of the greats, and arguably the greatest ever to play the game, super cool. It's someone I idolized in my childhood, and I wear 23 because of him." James hit an 18-foot jumper to reach the milestone, surpassing Jordan’s 563rd 30-point game in his 1,523rd career game.
Reflecting on his career, James added, "I still have a little bit left in the tank, so I guess I'll go until it's kind of empty." At 40, James continues to defy age, cementing his place among basketball’s all-time greats.
