Legon Cities ended their five-game losing streak with a dominant 3-0 victory over Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The win, powered by goals from Fredrick Akatuk, Frank Akoto, and Raymond Agyemang, lifted Cities off the bottom of the table, although they remain in the relegation zone. The first half was evenly matched, but Cities took control after the break. Akatuk opened the scoring, Akoto doubled the lead following poor defending, and Agyemang sealed the win with a late strike.
Cities dominated possession (57%) and registered five shots on target, while Dreams FC failed to produce any efforts on goal. The result boosts Legon Cities' survival hopes, while Dreams FC's continued poor form leaves them near the relegation zone.
