Legon Cities sign former Hearts of Oak defender Robert Sowah Addo

Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities have signed experienced defender Robert Sowah Addo, formerly of Hearts of Oak, to bolster their squad. Addo, a former league champion, returns to the league after leaving Hearts in June 2023.

He is the club's fifth signing in January, joining players like Elijah Satekla and Emmanuel Gyamfi, formerly of Asante Kotoko.

Under coach Yaw Acheampong, Legon Cities struggled in the first half of the season, finishing 17th with 14 points.

Addo's arrival is expected to strengthen the team's defense and help them avoid relegation. With the Ghana transfer window closing on January 22, 2025, Legon Cities aim to make more impactful recruitments to improve their fortunes in the league.
