Luka Modrić set to become minority owner at Swansea City

Luka Modrić, the Croatian midfield star, is entering football ownership. He will become a minority shareholder in Swansea City, an EFL Championship team. This deal marks his first official step into football business. He joins owners Andy Coleman, Brett Cravatt, Nigel Morris, and Jason Cohen.

Despite this new role, Modrić remains focused on playing. The 38-year-old intends to continue with Real Madrid beyond this season. His investment in Swansea shows a long-term vision for his future. He still competes at the highest level with Los Blancos.

Swansea City is currently 12th in the Championship table. They are eight points away from playoff spots with four games left. The club is also looking for a permanent manager after parting ways with Luke Williams in March. Alan Sheehan is currently serving as caretaker coach.
