Lycée Français International Jacques Prévert d'Accra hosts 2025 Central African Zone games

Lycée Français International Jacques Prévert d’Accra (LFIA) hosted the ZAC Games 2025. This major sporting event took place from March 17 to March 21, 2025. It brought together junior high school teams from five AEFE countries: Togo, Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, and Ghana.

The annual ZAC Games allow students from French international schools in Africa to showcase their sports skills. The event also promotes cultural exchange and camaraderie among participants. This year featured various games at multiple venues:

- LFIA Sports Field: Handball, table tennis, volleyball, sitting volleyball, basketball, and “Jeux de la Lucarne.”
- University of Ghana Stadium: Field and track events.
- S2 Sports Complex: Padel and Foot5.

The ZAC Games 2025 celebrated sportsmanship and determination. Student-athletes displayed remarkable skill and resilience throughout the competition. LFIA emphasized holistic education by promoting respect for peers and teamwork.

Parents, teachers, and supporters actively participated in the event. Their presence added to the festive atmosphere as they cheered on the athletes.
