Gospel artist MOG Music has shared the secret behind his New Wine Concert's success.
He credits Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, the Founder of Royalhouse Chapel International.
Rev. Ankrah funded the first three editions and has supported MOG Music since 2015.
MOG made this revelation during an interview on Joy Prime’s Changes with Roselyn Felli on March 21, 2025.
“I met Apostle Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, and my service touched his heart,” he said.
“He promised to help me, so I submitted to his leadership.”
“For three years, he financed everything for New Wine,” MOG continued.
“The seed money for my first album came from him. I owe my success to Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah.”
The ‘Mala’ songwriter noted that the Apostle invested time, money, and prayer into his career.
“He contributed to my breakthrough in higher places,” MOG Music added.
“He led the way, and it’s been upward ever since.”
Born Nana Yaw Boakye, MOG Music has produced many popular gospel songs.
He has won several awards, including Male Vocalist of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards in 2020 and 2021.
For over a decade, he has blessed Ghanaians with spirit-filled songs at his New Wine concert.
This year is no different; Kumasi has already hosted its concert.
Accra will experience it on March 30 at the First Love Church.
The Accra edition will feature Joe Mettle, Obaapa Christy, Pastor Isaiah Fosu Kwakye Jnr., Barry Neequaye, and Quame Gyedu.
