MTN FA Cup Final: We beat Hearts, so we are not scared of Kotoko – Golden Kick CEO

Joseph Epton, the CEO of Golden Kick FC, has a warning for Asante Kotoko. He says they should expect a unique ‘golden kick’ in the MTN FA Cup final.

Golden Kick FC reached the final by beating Attram De Visser 3-1 last Saturday. This match took place at the TNA Stadium.

Before facing Attram De Visser, Golden Kick eliminated Karela United and Accra Hearts of Oak. Both teams are from the Ghana Premier League.

In an interview with Luv FM, Epton expressed confidence about playing Kotoko. He noted that they have already defeated strong teams to reach this stage.

Epton said, “The motivation of the boys is to win the cup.” He added that making history is a powerful motivator for his team.

He acknowledged Kotoko's strengths but emphasized Golden Kick's uniqueness. “The best teams do not find their rhythm against us,” he stated.

The 2024/25 MTN FA Cup final will be on June 15. It will take place at the University of Ghana Stadium.
