The CAF African Schools Football Championship 2025 Continental Finals will take place from April 21 to April 26 at the University of Ghana Stadium in Accra.
This marks the first time the tournament’s finals will be held in West Africa, after previous editions in South Africa (2023) and Tanzania (2024).
Launched by CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe in 2022, the competition has seen participation from over 1.9 million young players across 46 nations.
Supported by a $10 million donation from the Motsepe Foundation, prize money will fund school infrastructure projects.
Twelve teams (six boys' and six girls' teams) have qualified through zonal competitions.
Alongside the matches, CAF will run capacity-building programs, including coaching courses and referee training. The tournament aims to develop African football while fostering education and skills among young players.
