The clinic brings together 16 regional Physical Education Coordinators from across Ghana. Vice President Mohammed Osman Nkosi and U.S. coaches are also attending. Coaches include Prise Navarro Leone, Grimes David Michael, Thomas Ratcliff, and Chadwick Demond Louisville.

The goal of the clinic is to teach American Flag Football fundamentals. This non-contact sport focuses on teamwork, agility, and strategy.

Madam Cynthia Wise praised the initiative as timely and impactful. She believes it provides tools to introduce something new to students. Flag football promotes inclusivity and is a safe, skill-based sport.

U.S. coach David Grimes expressed gratitude to the Ghana Education Service for their support. He noted that sports and education complement each other well. Reaching grassroots levels will increase interest in the sport.

Day one concluded successfully with education on rules and field setup. Participants learned about the history of flag football and its potential impact on students.
