Manchester City are reportedly "pushing" to sign Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush during the January transfer window.
The 25-year-old Egyptian has been in exceptional form, with 13 Bundesliga goals and 30 combined goals and assists in 24 appearances this season. City's interest stems from Pep Guardiola's desire to rejuvenate the squad, with Marmoush’s pace and versatility making him a strong fit for the Premier League. Marmoush has also attracted interest from Liverpool, Manchester United, and Arsenal.
Frankfurt, known for developing and selling players, could demand £50m for the forward, who joined on a free transfer in 2023. Frankfurt's sporting director, Markus Krosche, emphasized the club's willingness to sell players if the right offer comes in.
