Man City sign Frankfurt forward Marmoush for £59m

Manchester City have signed Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt for €70m (£59m), with add-ons of up to £4m.

Marmoush, 25, has been in outstanding form, scoring 15 goals in 17 Bundesliga games this season. He has agreed to a contract until June 2029. Marmoush expressed his excitement, stating it is an honor to represent City.

Known for his speed and versatility, he can play as a striker, winger, or number 10. City also signed Brazilian defender Vitor Reis for £30m and Uzbekistan's Abdukodir Khusanov for £34m.

Marmoush’s arrival aims to ease the goalscoring burden on Erling Haaland. He could debut in City's upcoming Premier League match against Chelsea but won't feature in their Champions League game against Club Brugge.
