Manchester United have confirmed that Amad suffered an ankle injury in training and will miss several weeks of the season.
The 22-year-old forward, who has been in excellent form with nine goals and seven assists, expressed his disappointment on Instagram but vowed to return stronger.
United released an official statement on X, encouraging Amad’s recovery. While early reports suggested he might miss the rest of the season, the club indicates a shorter absence.
His injury adds to United’s growing list of sidelined players, including Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte, Luke Shaw, and Mason Mount. Manager Ruben Amorim now faces a tough challenge as United push for a strong finish to the campaign.
