Virgil van Dijk believes Manchester United were "disrespected" ahead of their 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Anfield.
Despite United's recent struggles, van Dijk felt they were underestimated, particularly after hearing a question about Liverpool's potential player rotation. "Do I feel United were disrespected? Yes," he said, adding, "It is one of the biggest games of the season and United will always make it tough."
He also defended teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold, who faced criticism for a subpar performance. Van Dijk stated, "Trent has his own people around him, his family, and we are there as well," emphasizing that the focus remains on performing well and not external distractions.
