Man Utd under 'pressure' & must sell to buy in summer - Amorim

Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has confirmed that the club must sell players before making new signings this summer.

Despite financial struggles, including losses exceeding £300 million over three years, United only spent £25 million on Patrick Dorgu in January.

Cost-cutting measures continue, with redundancies expected and the London office likely to close.

Amorim’s comments raise concerns that homegrown stars like Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho could be sold to comply with financial regulations.

Meanwhile, former United players Scott McTominay and Antony have thrived after leaving the club.

United are now focusing on developing young talent, with 17-year-old Chido Obi joining first-team training.

Amorim dismissed comparisons with Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou, stating, "With respect, I am at a bigger club."
