Manchester City’s struggles continued with a 1-1 draw against Everton at the Etihad, as Erling Haaland’s second-half penalty was saved by Jordan Pickford.

Once dominant, Pep Guardiola’s side has now won just once in their past 13 games across all competitions. The result leaves City sixth, three points behind fourth-placed Nottingham Forest and 11 behind leaders Liverpool. City started brightly, with Josko Gvardiol’s header hitting the post, but Bernardo Silva gave them the lead in the 14th minute.

Everton equalized in the 36th minute through Iliman Ndiaye’s brilliant strike. In the second half, Haaland missed a penalty after Vitalii Mykolenko fouled Savinho. Despite dominating possession, City failed to find a winner, extending their winless run.
