Denis Law, Manchester United legend, has passed away at the age of 84.
His family confirmed the news, stating that he fought a tough battle with dementia, which he had announced in 2021. Law spent 11 years at Old Trafford, scoring 237 goals in 404 appearances and was a key figure in United's post-Munich resurgence, winning multiple titles including two First Division titles, the European Cup, and the FA Cup.
He was also awarded the Ballon d'Or in 1964. Law, known as the "King of the Stretford End," was capped 55 times by Scotland. His passing is mourned by both Manchester United and the wider football community. He also played for Manchester City, Huddersfield Town, and Torino.
