Messi's bodyguard banned from touchline at Inter Miami games

Lionel Messi's bodyguard, Yassine Cheuko, has been banned from the touchline. He can no longer protect Messi during Inter Miami matches.

Cheuko is a former Navy SEAL. He gained fame for monitoring the crowd closely. His goal was to prevent pitch invaders from harming Messi.

Major League Soccer now controls matchday security completely. Cheuko can only access the locker room and mixed zones.

"They don't allow me on the field anymore," he told Spanish media. He worked in Europe for seven years before coming to the USA.

In Europe, only six people invaded the pitch during his time there. In just 20 months in the USA, 16 people have invaded it. "There's a huge problem here; let me help Messi," he said.
