Mikel Arteta praised Declan Rice and Martin Ødegaard after Arsenal's 3-0 Champions League victory over Dinamo Zagreb, a result that virtually guarantees their progression to the last 16.
Rice opened the scoring early, followed by Kai Havertz's header and Ødegaard's stoppage-time goal, ending his 13-match goal drought. Ødegaard’s performance, including his passionate celebration, impressed Arteta, who noted the midfielder's desire to score.
Rice, who had also been without a goal for seven games, netted his first Champions League goal and was lauded for his attacking intent and ball-driving ability. The win came after a 2-2 draw with Aston Villa in the Premier League, and Arsenal will now focus on their next match against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
