Milan President Paolo Scaroni provided updates on the club's new stadium plans, emphasizing that Milan's priority is to build a new venue alongside Inter.
The project is a continuation of the 2018 twin project, which has faced delays. Scaroni criticized the outdated San Siro, stating that the stadium is no longer functional, though the clubs must pay €200 million to acquire the San Siro area.
The San Donato project, initially a backup plan, has become less viable after restrictions on building near Meazza were lifted.
Scaroni also discussed Milan’s financial focus on sustainability, urging changes in laws to allow football clubs to benefit from betting revenues, which could help clubs buy more players.
