Milan coach Sergio Conceicao puts family ties on hold ahead of Juve clash, newly appointed AC Milan coach, assured fans he wouldn't get emotional about facing his son, Francisco, who plays for Juventus.
Milan’s first match under Conceicao will be the Supercoppa Italiana semi-final against Juve. Despite the family connection, he stated, "At home I'm his father, tomorrow my son will be my opponent, I want to beat him as he wants to beat me." Conceicao also expressed satisfaction with his team's attitude, describing them as "humble" and eager to learn, despite limited preparation time.
He acknowledged that more time would have been ideal but felt they had effectively communicated their needs. Juventus have won the Supercoppa nine times, while Milan has seven titles, with Juve winning the last encounter in 2019.
