AC Milan's 125th anniversary celebrations were overshadowed by a disappointing 0-0 draw against Genoa, which saw the team jeered off the pitch.
The evening began with a tribute to the club's legendary players and trophies, but discontent quickly surfaced in the Curva Sud, where a banner read: "We honour our champions, those symbols of a Milan that no longer exists."
At the final whistle, fans directed their anger towards the players, coach Paulo Fonseca, and owner Gerry Cardinale, who was absent.
Chants like "We are not American" highlighted their frustration with Cardinale's ownership.
Despite having a game in hand, Milan is now 14 points behind Serie A leaders Atalanta and trailing Bologna by two points.
